Martin is founding partner of Nexus Capital Advisors. His focus is on advising national and international clients on large scale transactions, the development of financing and joint-venture structures and advising on real estate capital markets transactions. Between 2003 and 2013 Martin was with Cushman & Wakefield, a leading international real estate services firm, where he built up the German transaction advisory business and was responsible for the German Capital Markets and Valuation business. In 2007, he became one of the youngest equity partners of the business. Martin began his career in 2000 working for a management consulting boutique firm in Munich where he advised financial institutions including banks and insurance companies on strategy and risk management. Martin holds a Master’s degree in chemistry and a PhD.

Matthias Franz has been active in the institutional real estate industry for more than 20 years and is one of the founding partners of Nexus Capital Advisors. His professional career includes nine years with the international real estate advisory firm Cushman & Wakefield. As a partner within the real estate Corporate Finance department, he advised national and international clients on the acquisition and sale of residential and commercial portfolios, equity and debt markets as well as the valuation of real estate assets and portfolios. Prior to his time with C&W, he was working at Viterra Corporation’s business development department (now Vonovia SE). Matthias holds a diploma in urban planning from the Technical University of Dortmund and a degree in Real Estate Economics from the International Real Estate Business School, Regensburg. He is a RICS, London, chartered valuation surveyor and member of their German examinations board.

Guido has over 25 years of experience in direct and indirect real estate investing, fund management, alternative debt investments, banking, debt advisory, structuring of performing and re-structuring of distressed equity and debt investments, each for various types of asset classes. Between 2013 and 2017 he headed the real estate business of ICG in Germany and was a member of the investment committee. ICG is a listed company and a specialied asset manager investing in private debt, credit and equity. From 2007 to 2013 he headed the RBS German real estate equity and renting business and had a senior role in the RBS real estate restructuring unit. From 2003 to 2006 he was Head of Structured Debt Products within Asset Finance & Leasing, Deutsche Bank. Guido started his career in 1995 in Deutsche Immobilien Leasing. From 1996 to 2003 he was responsible for fund investments into residential, infrastructure and public sector assets. Guido holds a Master’s degree in business and administration from the university of Cologne and an apprenticeship in banking.

Dr. Hans-Joachim Huss ist geschäftsführender Gesellschaft einer Unternehmensberatung in Berlin. Er war zuvor im Vorstand der ZBI Immobilien AG in Erlangen tätig und führte bis zuletzt den ZBI Sicar Fonds in Luxemburg. Nach seinem beruflichen Start am Institut für Weltwirtschaft in Kiel war er für den Internationalen Währungsfonds, das Bundesministerium der Finanzen und die Europäische Bank für Wiederaufbau und Entwicklung tätig. Nach Jahren im Banking in London und Berlin übernahm er in Unternehmen aus dem Bereich erneuerbare Energien sowie insbe-sondere Immobilien beratende oder leitende Funktionen. Hans-Joachim Huss ist diplomierter und promovierter Volkswirt.
